Faucet repair and replacement
We rebuild or replace cartridges, seats and O-rings on kitchen, bath and laundry faucets, or install a new faucet along with new supply lines and shutoff valves rather than reusing worn parts.
No rel=preload for this sheet: the preload scanner discovers a
stylesheet in the same pass it would discover the preload hint, so the hint is a no-op that just adds a byte cost. #} Skip to contentFixture service covers repair and replacement of the plumbing you use daily: kitchen and bath faucets, toilets, garbage disposals, shower and tub valves, sinks, shutoff valves and supply lines, including installing fixtures the homeowner has already purchased.
Fixture work is the most common plumbing call and the easiest to put off. A dripping faucet or a toilet that runs for a minute after every flush feels minor, but a failing flapper can pass thousands of gallons a month, and a weeping supply line under a vanity quietly ruins a cabinet floor. Most of these repairs are quick, and doing them properly means replacing the part that failed rather than just tightening something.
Replacement is often the better call. Fixtures made before the mid 1990s use far more water per flush or per minute than current models, and parts for discontinued cartridges can be impossible to source. Hard water is unkind to valve cartridges, aerators and fill valves in this part of Florida, so a fixture that has already been rebuilt twice is telling you something. We install what you buy or help you choose.
We rebuild or replace cartridges, seats and O-rings on kitchen, bath and laundry faucets, or install a new faucet along with new supply lines and shutoff valves rather than reusing worn parts.
We replace fill and flush valves, flappers and supply lines, reset toilets on a fresh wax or foam seal with correct closet bolts, and install replacement toilets including comfort-height and low-flow models.
We clear jams, replace failed units and correct the drain and dishwasher connections that cause most disposal leaks, making sure the mount and gasket seal properly to the sink.
We repair or replace shower cartridges and tub diverters, and install pressure-balancing or thermostatic mixing valves where an older valve can no longer hold a stable temperature.
We install sinks and drain assemblies, replace corroded angle stops with quarter-turn valves, and swap tired supply tubes for braided stainless lines that will not fail without warning.
If you have already bought the fixture we install it correctly, verify it fits the existing rough-in, and tell you before we start if anything about the fit is going to be a problem.
We confirm what actually failed, whether cartridge, valve, seal, mount or the supply side, because the fix for a dripping spout and the fix for a leaking base are entirely different jobs.
We explain the repair option and the replacement option with upfront pricing, including whether parts for your model are still available, and you choose before any work begins.
We complete the work, replace the connections that matter rather than reusing tired ones, then run the fixture, check underneath for drips and confirm the shutoff valves actually shut off.
Hard Hillsborough County water is the main enemy of fixtures here. Mineral scale clogs aerators and showerheads, cuts grooves in faucet cartridge seals, and crusts toilet fill valves and rim jets until flush performance drops off. It also seizes older multi-turn angle stops, which is why a simple faucet swap in an established Brandon home often turns into replacing the shutoffs too.
